As the landscape of construction, design and contracting are changing in the city, it makes more sense than ever to work with a design build firm that properly combines the services of independent designer and qualified contractor. As an extension to this, since Department of Buildings (DOB) Work Permits are now almost always required, CHDB offers affordable outside Registered Architect services to provide all (and only) necessary filing, permitting and sign-offs to satisfy the DOB.
For projects requiring major exterior or structural work, CHDB teams up with partner contractors specializing in these trades. CHDB liaisons with all but the client has direct contracts with external contractors with the proper licenses and insurances to get the job done.
