Cobble Hill Project
This project in the middle of historic Cobble Hill, Brooklyn, entailed the gut renovation of a duplex apartment in a two coop townhouse that was in need of dire attention. The renovation included a new kitchen, laundry room, two bathrooms, a bedroom and library room, all new surfaces and finishes. Beneath the kitchen floor joists were replaced, a new opening made for a large bay window in the kitchen, the powder room relocated, new stairs - new everything. Historical plaster crown moldings throughout the parlor floor (bedroom and library), new historical double panel doors and casings, baseboards too. The home’s mechanical systems were all upgraded as well.
